1st Half
A story of a pregnant woman who comes to Calcutta from London to search her missing husband. She gets a help from a police officer who always be with her in every situation. Where-ever she goes to get the information about his husband nobody identifies about him. Whatever clue she gets from a particular person about her husband, they are brutally killed. Every minute of the movie gets in to new twist. Just before the interval its really heart breaking moments.
2nd Half
The search goes on but this time not her husband but a Killer who has similarity look of his husband. The Investigation bureau wants to grab this killer anyhow and they try to help her in investigation. But its not easy to grab him as big bureaucracy are behind this who are helping him from inside system only. The climax scene is so much of twist that's you cant judge that this would have been the ending just breathtaking suspense.
Vidya Balan is the hero of the movie. Their is Khans, Kapoor, Kumar, Roshan in the bollywood and we can now add Balan also in the list. She can make a movie blockbuster not just on her name but due to her super powerful acting. Any appreciation about her acting is less. Parambrata Chattopadhyay has done justice to his role. He is the once to watch out for. Rest of all characters has done their role superbly.
After making a nice movie like Jhankar beats and then a pathetic movie like Aladdin, Sujoy Ghosh is back with a bang. Wonderful direction by him. Well picturised and calcutta locations is shown superbly.
Music by Vishal-Shekar is nice.
No negativity for the movie.
Rating - 8.5/10 (A Must Watch movie)
